Robert Banker’s drive to excel is infectious and his generous desire to help others achieve their goals has been the root of his many accomplishments. Robert’s family has been immersed in The Hamptons Real Estate profession for generations. He proudly continues this tradition partnered with and powered by Compass, joining the Breitenbach Advisory Team to provide the highest level of service to his seller, buyer and renter clients. Based in Southampton, his lifelong ties to the community inspire him to connect his clients to the perfect vacation or second home and homeowners to maximize their sale and rental targets.

Robert brings his strong business acumen to Real Estate from having spent over thirty years working with the top investment banks and fund managers on Wall Street. In 2008 he founded and still manages Highwood Capital LLC, a Fund of Hedge Funds providing clients a diversified and hard to access portfolio of elite managers. He is a Senior Advisor to Keel Harbor a capital raising and marketing firm in Palm Beach. He attributes his successes to extending an ultimate level of professionalism, discretion, affability and capacity to truly listen to and care about his clients’ objectives.

Robert grew up spending holidays and summers in the Hamptons and witnessed the evolution of the East End as a homeowner and father to three children. His greatest passion is nature and its preservation and as a member of the Wildlife Conservation Society, The North Shore Land Alliance, The Atlantic Salmon Federation, The Peconic Land Trust. He has continuously maintained a standing as a loyal trusted member of the community via The Boys Club of New York, Boys Harbor, the Southampton Police Benevolent Association and many other organizations.
