About Ryan
Ryan Andrews relocated to the Western Suburbs in July of 2017 with his wife and two children after spending the previous 10 years in Hong Kong working primarily as a financial news and lifestyle reporter. Prior to that he spent eight years living and working in New York City. Originally from Grand Rapids MI Ryan holds a Bachelor of Journalism from Michigan State University and a Masters of Journalism from the University of Hong Kong.
Now based in La Grange he has found the transition to suburban life quite seamless. Great schools and neighbors, easy access to the city, and a myriad number of entertainment options are some of the reasons he doesn't plan on leaving anytime soon. In his spare time he enjoys traveling with his family, playing and watching sports and exploring the nature preserves of Cook County. He can also be found checking out the latest eating and drinking establishments around town so stop in and say hi.
