A lifelong horsewoman, Patti has a diverse background in the horse industry. Before becoming a REALTOR®, she worked for the Del Mar National Horse Show for 10 years as Sponsorship and Marketing Coordinator, a job well-suited to her extensive writing, communication, and photographic skills. Her ability to comprehend a company’s marketing goals enabled her to offer creative solutions to its individual needs while working with it to achieve those goals. Patti’s real estate career is well served by these skills and her longtime involvement in the equestrian community, both proving beneficial in addressing clients’ needs.
Patti worked as a mobile notary for nearly 15 years. During that time, she learned how to put people at ease while navigating sometimes intimidating documents. For many people, purchasing a home can be an overwhelming process.
Patti’s calm demeanor, patience, and willingness to listen have resulted in buyers finding the right property and sellers confident in the valuation and marketing of their homes. Many of Patti’s clients became friends through the process and have remained friends– perhaps the highest compliment a real estate agent can receive.
Patti and her husband, Richard, owned and operated Newcourse Company LLC, which provided show jumps to a variety of clients, including two Olympic Games, the World Equestrian Games, North American Young Riders Championships, the Pan American Games, and corporate clients like Rolex, Cargill, Grey Goose Vodka, and Wells Fargo, to name a few. They have four horses on their 2-1/2-acre property in Elfin Forest where they have lived for 32 years. Active in their community, they have worked hard to protect its rural character, preserve open space, and develop and maintain an extensive trail network.
