Originally from the East Coast, Betsy has been a resident of Pacific Heights for over 26 years. Drawn to Compass' sterling brand reputation and recognition, she joined the company and has quickly established herself as a specialist in the sale and purchase of luxury properties. Betsy is a member of Compass' Exclusive Estates Division and has earned sales leader and top-producer status. In addition, Betsy is a member of the invitation only Top Agent Network, which is comprised of 400 of San Francisco’s top-producing agents. This membership offers not only access to off-market properties but insider information and resources. The majority of Betsy's focus has been the north side of the city, including Pacific Heights, Presidio Heights, Sea Cliff, Cow Hollow, Russian Hill, Nob Hill, and the Marina.
Prior to joining Compass, Betsy spent 20-plus years as an accomplished and recognized presence in the world of high-end fashion. Betsy was the director of sales and marketing for exclusive brands such as Carolina Herrera, Yves St. Laurent, and Emmanuel Ungaro. Her responsibilities included marketing and public relations, spending time in Paris, New York, and other major cities (including San Francisco) throughout the U.S.
Betsy's love of people, combined with her networking skills, made her transition to real estate a natural one. She is passionate about San Francisco and committed to the community. She feels very fortunate to live here and believes strongly in giving back to the community. To that end, Betsy is very involved and connected with several philanthropic organizations. These include the San Francisco Ballet Auxiliary, American Foundation for Aids Research (amfAR), the Modern Art Council, Helpers of the Mentally Retarded, and Susan G. Komen.
