Bay Area native Olivia McNally founded McNally & Associates to create an authentic, personalized buying and selling experience for clients who want more than just a deal. She understands people need an agent connected to the community and invested in their personal growth.
“I've grown up in this area and watching people ten years younger than myself, as well as people my age and older, try and buy their first home is seriously disheartening sometimes. I love being able to achieve the impossible for clients,” she says.
Olivia began in the luxury property industry managing $10 million to $21 million estates. Since then, she’s worked as a top producing agent in Keller Williams’ San Francisco and Peninsula offices, leading the group’s expansion onto the Peninsula and doubling her 2016 sales to more than $42 million.
She started Olivia McNally & Associates because she wanted an intimate practice that provides elite, focused attention on buyers and sellers. She believes that clients need to connect to their agent, which is why she’s there every step of the way: from prepping the house for market o the day the deal closes.
“It’s important to me that buyers are well represented and that my sellers get the highest and best offers,” she said.
Birthplace: Born in Redding, Calif.; but raised on the Peninsula
College and certifications: Colorado Technical University, magna cum laude with bachelor’s of science in business administration and management. Professional groups include: The Polkadot Sisters, a networking women’s group; San Francisco Association of Realtors; San Mateo County Association of Realtors; member of the Top Agent Network.
Agent of change: Each December for every client who closed escrow in that year Olivia matches their donation to a charity of their choice. If they couldn't donate, she gave a specific amount on their behalf.
A really big accomplishment: She closed a deal in which her buyer secured a property for $400,000 under asking. She also sold a property for $427,000 over the list price in two days with eight offers.
The government trusts her: She held top secret clearance at Lockheed Martin for seven years.
Above and beyond: She once flew to Los Angeles at 2 a.m. so a client could close escrow on time.
Mimosas anyone?: She prepares a fresh batch for every open house.
Native daughter: She grew up slalom water skiing in the San Mateo-Foster City Lagoon and now lives in Belmont with her husband.
Favorite Peninsula haunt: Pescadero because of its quaint charm that reminds her of what towns used to be like "way back when.”
But what really makes her tick: Giving homeowners keys to a new place. “This is honestly the best feeling ever!” she says.
