Prema Subramaniam came to real estate from the legal world. Prema loves real estate since young as she grew up assisting her father who is a real estate investor. Prema was practicing as a litigation attorney and has 10 years’ experience in legal profession. She obtained her LL.B from University of London and CLP from Malaysia. Prema's dream to be a successful litigation attorney came true when she won her client's real estate "fraud" high court case.
After her marriage, Prema moved to the bay area and obtained LL.M from Santa Clara University. Prema decided to take a break from pursuing a full-time legal job when she carried her first daughter. During that time, Prema bought her first home with her husband in Fremont which ignited her interest in practicing real estate. However, Prema started her first year in real estate while carrying her second daughter and found professional success by closing more than three times the sales of an average agent in their first year. Prema was a recipient of the Bay East Association's 'Grand Master' Achievement Award for 2018.
Prema understands what it is like to stand in her client’s shoes. Buying and selling houses of her own, has afforded Prema a sensitivity towards her client’s journey. Meeting new people and helping clients find the right house to call home is her passion. Prema’s legal expertise and skills especially the subtle art of negotiating coupled with her personal background helped to make her transition to real estate industry a seamless one.
Prema believes in giving back to the community, hence she is an active member and sponsor in a couple of non-profit organizations in the bay area. Prema is contributing 10% of her profit to the community and is also donating $500 from closed transactions on behalf of her clients towards a charity of their choice.
Four words you can count on Prema – love, passion, integrity and commitment.
