Travis began his real estate career in 2003 working for the Del Webb Corporation. He eventually moved on to represent more local developers in the San Francisco market. He has forged strong relationships with these individuals and companies, and through it all he has become extremely knowledgeable about San Francisco properties – he can speak with authority about the benefits and the challenges each property presents.
He was born and raised in Rochester, Minnesota. He moved to the Bay Area in 1986 with his family and attended Holy Names University where he majored in Business and Communications. Prior to real estate, Travis worked for IBM in marketing. While there he perfected many of the negotiation skills he employs today. In addition to his tenure at IBM, he held management positions with other financial and technology firms, including Bankers Trust.
Travis will tell you his primary goal is to provide excellent service. He achieves this by really listening carefully to his clients in order to identify their goals and true needs – whether it’s a seller downsizing from a large property, or a buyer hoping to purchase a first home. His sincerity, education and background in marketing at both financial and technology firms created the foundation for his ability to keenly tune in to what each client sees as their ideal property and gently counsel them
With an understanding that people don’t move without a compelling reason, Travis provides guidance, a friendly ear, exceptional (and often extraordinary) service --which has kept him a consistent top producer over the years.. He’s lived in many of San Francisco’s neighborhoods, and consequently has a local’s in-depth familiarity with them.
Travis has over 500 properties during his career. He has forged lasting relationships with many of his clients, in part because he understands this is not simply a transaction – it’s your home.
