About Shawn
The wants and needs of each seller or buyer I represent are unique. The overall process may be similar but every person has individual goals, hopes and plans. My more than 30 years' experience enables me to provide expertise, guidance and support specific to you.
I’ve been licensed in four states, with great mentors over the years, which helped develop my professional standards, and best apply my education to your needs. I’ve studied architecture, graphic design, construction, photography (and more) and have formal sales, contract negotiation and mortgage finance training.
Problem-solving, and even more so problem-avoiding, is a specialty.
Day-to-day I strive to always be a student- curious and learning- getting better as a professional and a person.

I’ve travelled to over 30 countries, and as a PADI certified divemaster I’ve explored the land and waters of four continents. I’ve had some instruction in photography and use it in my work and travels.
At various times of my younger life I moonlighted in the restaurant and hospitality industries- from dishwasher to waiter, bartender or cook and was a partner in a restaurant and bar in Chicago, my hometown.
