Shayna Kusumoto

Shay grew up on O‘ahu and is Chinese and part Native Hawaiian. She has been investing in real estate since 2002, while building her and her husband’s creative design agency, 9th Ave Studio, and the local music show, HISessions. Over those years she did a lot of work for some of the state’s top real estate brokerages and top realtors. 22 years of skill and savvy developed through business and investing comes to bear in how she guides her clients.

Shay spent 3 years in Seattle, 1 semester in China, 2 years in Chicago, earning a bachelors in Psychology from University of Washington and a masters in Communications with a media concentration from Wheaton Graduate School.

Shay is joyfully married to her husband Dave, and they have 3 teenaged children. Shay is a surfer, dances hula, loves the Lord, loves long walks, rebounding, and anti-aging regimines. We’re sure she’ll tell you all about it if you ask.
