About Shayna
Shay is the friend you want in your corner when buying or selling real estate in Hawai‘i. Having grown up on O‘ahu and being part Native Hawaiian, Shay knows the island intimately. She has been investing in real estate since 2002 personally, while building her and her husband's creative design agency, 9th Ave Studio, and the local music show, HISessions. Over those years she did a lot of marketing work for some of the state's top real estate brokerages and top realtors. Recently she made the shift to doing real estate professionally, because of the success she’s had in both investing and business. All of the wisdom and skill she’s developed on both fronts come to bear in how she advocates for and leads her clients.
"I wholeheartedly believe in Hawai‘i real estate because of what it’s done for my family and me. And I love Hawai‘i because it’s my home.”
Shay also spent 3 years in Seattle, 1 semester in China, and 2 years in Chicago, earning a bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Washington and a masters in Communications with a media concentration from Wheaton Graduate School. She loved broadening her horizons a bit but honestly couldn't wait to come home.
Shay is joyfully married to her husband Dave, and they have 3 very teenage kids. Shay surfs, dances hula, loves the Lord, “enjoys” running, throwing pottery, chemical-free living, and anti-aging regimens. We’re sure she’ll tell you all about it if you ask
