"Susie has helped twice now in finding the home we need and our latest experience got us closer to our grandkids. She coached us well in staging the townhome for sale - and it went quick - working with the new home sales agent. She made sure we got the best possible deal for our townhome and that the new met our life style, interests and family needs. We recommend her without any reservations." - Eric & Sue

"We chose Susie because she has great energy and is down to earth. We are first time home buyers and had a very short amount of time to find a house before our lease was up. Susie showed us 30 houses in 3 weeks! During our home search she pointed out things we wouldn't have thought of and helped us determine what we really wanted in a house. After we found our house, she guided us through the home buying process. She responded quickly to texts and emails. Our closing was delayed two weeks due to permit delays. Susie kept in contact with our builder to make sure we would close in time. After we closed, she checked in on us to see how things were going and even helped resolve an outstanding issue with the builder. Susie is absolutely wonderful and we highly recommend her!" - Rose

"Susie was extremely helpful in both the purchase of my new home and the selling of my old house! She really helped reduce the amount of stress these processes can often involve!" - Eric

"Susie was the realtor for both the purchase of my condo and the sale of my townhouse. She made the experience a very positive one for me. She knew I was wanting to buy a condo in downtown Raleigh but not necessarily right away. So she would occasionally come across condos that fit my criteria and would send them to me. When I finally decided I was ready to buy, she made it her mission to find something I would love and she did just that in a very short time. She negotiated a price that I was very happy with and pretty much took care of everything from there on out. She checked in with me regularly on the status of everything and we were both so excited the day I got to pick up the keys to my new place. The sale of my townhouse went quickly and smoothly too. There were a couple of normal bumps along the way but Susie stayed on the phone with me to talk things over for as long as was needed to make me feel comfortable. Susie genuinely wants her clients to be happy, to get their dream home (or sell their old one), and to be comfortable with all the decisions made throughout the process. And she works all hours to make it happen. I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting a positive, fun, and successful experience in buying and/or selling a home." - Melinda

"I can not recommend Susie highly enough! My husband and I were first time home buyers looking for an older house that was walkable to a downtown area. We are pretty ambitious people and knew that whatever house we got with our tight budget was going to need a little (or a lot of) work! With every house we looked at, Susie gave us her honest opinion of the work that would be necessary to restore it and whether or not she thought it was worth it. Since she lives in an old historic house, we truly trusted her judgement and recommendations. She has a keen eye for spotting a diamond in the rough! We ended up looking for 6 months at too many houses to count and even put and offer on a couple that were rejected. Susie was always there for us and brainstorming creative ideas for us to get an edge in an extremely competitive market. The first day we met Susie, she told us that when we liked a house, we were going to have to be ready to jump in head first with our best offer on the table. This was honestly the best advice we could have gotten having no idea what the market was like, especially for first time home buyers. To make a long story short, we ended up in the perfect house for us! We can walk to coffee shops and breweries and couldn’t be happier. I would be lying if I said that this process was easy, but we wouldn’t have wanted to go through it with anyone else. Susie is an amazing realtor, person, and now friend. We loved working with her and would 100% recommend her to anyone looking to buy a home in the triangle!"

About Susie
For as long as I can remember, I have been interested in Real Estate and design. As my kids got older, I was looking for something to transition into from my career in the wellness industry. My husband convinced me that I would make an excellent Realtor, so at age 43 I decided to start a whole new career! As a massage therapist, I had spent my entire career providing detailed customer service in a high end environment where relationships and trust are key. Buying and selling homes can be an extremely stressful time for people, both emotionally and financially. Providing the highest level of service to people buying and selling their homes, whether it’s their first home or dream home, has become my passion.

I am originally from Northern Virginia, spending my summers in Bethany Beach, Delaware. After graduating from West Virginia University with a degree in Anthropology, I studied massage therapy because I had an interest in the healing arts and a deep desire to help and nurture people. I moved to Baltimore upon completing my studies and met my husband Bryan there. I moved to the Raleigh area in 1999 as a newlywed. Things sure have changed since then!

I live in historic Downtown Apex with my husband, our two sons (though my firstborn is just down the road at NCSU), our two cats and our big slobbery dog, T-bone. My favorite times are spent hanging with my boys, entertaining friends, camping, and playing on the beach. I am a huge advocate for not acting your age! I keep myself young at heart by rollerskating, beach cartwheels, going to concerts right up against the stage, and listening to music much too loudly. I am even learning to surf for my upcoming 50th birthday! I am passionate about my little town, supporting small local businesses, Pit Bull advocacy, childhood cancer education/fundraising, and skating.

One of my favorite things about the Triangle area is the sense of community. I truly think that because so many of us came from somewhere else, we rely on our friends and neighbors for things you take for granted if you have family close by, which creates an unusually tight bond. I think the people of the Triangle are truly the greatest, most open-hearted people you will find. If you are relocating to the area, you have hit the jackpot! Life is easy here. If you are local and looking for a new home that fits your current lifestyle, I would love to help!
