About Vera
Vera Bernstein has 40 years of experience as an active and successful Real Estate Broker in the Long Island suburb of Great Neck. She sold hundreds of homes during that time. Her reputation for honesty and integrity, and her conviction that the buyer and seller are the main protagonists in the often serious drama of purchasing or selling a home, won her many loyal clients. Vera understands that the broker is the service professional who facilitates the process

for her clients. She developed a reputation for empathy, and her business was based on word of mouth recommendations from satisfied customers. Vera still maintains previous clients as close personal friends. She has throughout her career.

As the owner of Vera Bernstein Realty Inc., a member of the Multiple Listing Service of Long Island MLS, she relished interacting with her clients and always listened carefully and respected their needs. Vera also developed expertise in commercial real estate, and sold numerous apartment buildings, shopping centers and investment properties to builders and investors. She ultimately chose to devote her time to residential home sales which she found to be more fulfilling.

As her children and grandchildren built lives and careers in Manhattan, Vera decided to sell her own home and business in Great Neck, and join the vibrant and bustling New York market as a broker at Compass NY where her daughter is currently an active sales person.

Vera looks forward to applying the same dedication patience, and experience that contributed to her past success to all those new clients who wish to entrust her with finding the most valuable asset of their lifetime.

Vera firmly believes that people buy or sell when they are ready. Brokers should not impose their own preferences, they must provide accurate information and negotiate the best deal, when the client feels ready to make an informed decision.
