As the Lead, Business Operations on our National Operations Team, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing our strategy and implementation plan for critical initiatives. 

In this role, you will partner closely with leadership across the organization to drive cross-functional stakeholder alignment and end-to-end delivery of programs and solutions. You will act as a thought partner and help our teams bridge strategy to execution. You are a natural self-starter, excited to join a resourceful and solutions-oriented team in a fast-paced environment to build efficiency and scale, elevate the customer experience, and fuel Compass’ success.

At Compass You Will:

  • Act as a key stakeholder and leader on the team, representing National Operations across the organization
  • Own, track, and forecast net customer retention, a key input into company-wide revenue forecasting
  • Program manage high-impact, strategic initiatives, guiding alignment with cross-functional stakeholders on operational decisions and influencing the long-term trajectory of the business
  • Gather data-driven insights to inform key stakeholders of the financial and operational impact of potential business decisions
  • Work collaboratively with our Data and Analytics, Accounting, Finance, and Regional Operations teams
  • Foster a culture of partnership and create a feedback loop between national and regional teams by informing communication strategies, facilitating the sharing of best practices, and soliciting feedback
  • Provide thought partnership and relevant subject matter expertise to inform strategy and execution
  • Monitor progress against key success metrics and escalate concerns to ensure the right actions are taken to course correct
  • Maintain confidentiality, as appropriate, regarding the work you are helping to lead

About You:

  • You have 5+ combined years of experience in consulting at a top-tier firm or in-house experience in a strategic/operations role
  • You enjoy and excel in navigating a highly collaborative and highly matrixed environment
  • You are highly proficient and comfortable working with spreadsheets and large data sets (PowerBI, Salesforce CRM experience a plus)
  • You have top-notch stakeholder management and leadership skills, and the proven ability to drive results
  • You are an excellent communicator and presenter, with an acute attention to detail, allowing you to think big, adapt quickly, and act fast
  • You have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, capable of driving recommendations and decisions rooted in qualitative and quantitative data
  • You thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment

Please note: this role is 100% in-office based out of our headquarters in New York City.

Compensation: 

The salary pay range for this position is $75,900 to $113,900; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonuses and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits. Base pay is based on market location. Minimum wage for the position will always be met.
