Associate Sales Manager

At Compass, our mission is to help everyone find their place in the world. Founded in 2012, we’re revolutionizing the real estate industry with our end-to-end platform that empowers residential real estate agents to deliver exceptional service to seller and buyer clients.

As an Associate Sales Manager you will coach, support, attract, and retain Compass agents while fostering an exceptional company culture. The Associate Sales Manager will act as a conduit between the regional leadership team and our agents and will be focused on implementing various sales and platform-related initiatives and policies to support agent production and business success. The Associate Sales Manager will also provide critical operational support to our MA Broker of Record and Managing Directors.

Based primarily in our Andover, MA office, you will split your support between our Northern New England offices; Andover and Marblehead, MA, and Portsmouth, NH. You may be asked to rotate your presence between the three, depending on business need.

At Compass You Will:

Growth planning & professional development

  • Support an agent portfolio by motivating, coaching and mentoring them, as well as providing strategic and operational guidance to the local Sales Management team

  • Lead annual Renewal conversations with your agents that achieve our financial goals for profitability
  • Attend broker tour and create/maintain relationships with co-broke community - make Compass more visible to local agents

Culture-building

  • Lead regular office-wide agent meetings (for the purposes of growth planning, broader performance reviews, company and / or market-updates)
  • Find ways to recognize agents and systematize that recognition (top sales, production milestones, birthdays and anniversaries). Organize social activities to help agents build stronger bonds with each other and with staff

Operational support

  • Support Regional Sales Managers and RVP with requests from our Central / National teams, like compiling agent data for awards submissions, consolidating market share for reports, answering questions about regional policies and best practices
  • Gather best practices from across the region that answer common agent needs like how to form a team, job descriptions for team admins, etc, so that we can refer to one central database versus answering these asks ad-hoc
