The seller had purchased the home on the 9/10 acre lot in 1983 when the neighbor to the north, who had 2 homes on approx. a 1.5 acre parcel, spun off this property...not realizing, in 1975, Sarasota County had down-zoned Casey Key to 1-acre minimum lot requirements.
