Texas is a big state! My husband and I explored five different areas and fell in love with Woodway. There are reasons probably too numerous to count but the slightly rural area with all the amenities and none of the traffic was so attractive to us. This particular house is so functional and the lot was perfect. We wanted a little room, there was a lot of work that needed to be done but my husband being a contractor knew how to handle everything. He put gates in the back fence so that we could put our boat out there. We have loved being close to the lake and going out whenever we wanted to. The community is warm and welcoming, the Fourth of July parade is precious. The first few days I was here the neighbors brought over tacos one night. Woodway has the best of all worlds. After redoing the house I had my dream home and it’s not in a new neighborhood which really made us happy! We did not want to be on a postage stamp size lot and we have huge beautiful trees. I have three small dogs and enjoy walking them in this neighborhood where I feel safe. The Woodway police drive by frequently and I wave and they wave back. This has been such good place to live!
