This beautifully remodeled home with many custom design elements contains dark hardwood flooring throughout the home on both levels and is comfortable to walk barefoot. Bright, natural light in every room including skylights so at night you have moonlight streaming inside. As you enter this two-story nautical style home there is a custom painted, papered wall with colorful fish and this leads into an open bright floor plan. A naturally bright living area with high white paneled ceilings, dining area, open kitchen, pantry with fridge and freezer, mudroom with laundry chute, laundry room, half bathroom and entrance into the two-car garage. The kitchen contains high-end appliances including a Wolf range with a French cooktop, two under counter fridges, one kitchen fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave and one convection wall oven. The home was designed to be open so that you may view the canal easily from the kitchen, dining and living area. The dining and living areas have 8’ tall French style doors which open completely to allow an open feel from the inside to the outside patio. Master bedroom suite which contains a his and hers walk-in closet and master bath. The master bedroom offers a beautiful view of the canal. Down the hall from the master suite are two en-suite bedrooms. One bedroom has a California King size bed, and the furthest bedroom has a Queen size bed. All bedrooms contain custom drapery, bedding, paneling and unique light fixtures and artwork. It is a happy cheerful, elegant home and makes you feel you are in a coastal paradise. Step outside to the South facing patio that allows for sun year-round and al fresco dining for 10 at the 8’ outdoor table. Pick fresh herbs in the herb garden to complement dinner prepared on the barbecue. The patio leads to the ramp and then to the dock. The dock contains a two-person kayak and stand-up paddle board for your use. A great place to sit, lay and soak up the sun while you watch the birds, paddle boarders and boats cruise by. A special treat, gondolas cruise up and down the canal in the afternoons and evenings. You may get lucky and witness a marriage proposal on a gondola from the privacy of the patio! Proximity to beaches and parks from the home: 10-minute walk to the Silver Strand Beach and Cays Community Park and its dog park. A 15-minute walk to the Loews Coronado Bay Resort, Grand Caribe Shoreline Park, Coronado Cays Yacht Club and Calypso Café. It is a 10-minute walk to the Silver Strand to ride bikes, walk or run into Coronado Village or to Imperial Beach! This community in the Cays does not have access to a pool/spa.
