The New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission described 74 Bank Street as "exceptionally well proportioned and among the handsomest residences on the block." Architectural Digest (AD) gushed that "the Greek Revival structure is a gem" in a recent profile of the townhouse's stunning contemporary interior design and architecture by AD100 architects Leroy Street Studio (LSS) and Christine Markatos Design. AD praised their update as ideal for "contemporary living without losing sight of the townhouse's history or compromising its character," perfectly befitting a property of this charm and vintage.
